The Verdict
Holy crap guys… I don’t really know what to say. This movie was funny, but it was so… BAD… its unbelievable. We start out the 1600′s after the first Thanksgiving with a bare breasted blonde pilgrim woman running from her life from a foul mouthed puppet…. er I mean Turkey. So the turkey kills the chick and we flash forward to some teens at a college campus. The teens are all going home for the holiday break and decide to carpool home together in a Jeep Wrangler with no top. I cant really pinpoint the location per-say, they might have said it but I was too busy cringing in fear of the bad plot to notice, but it can’t be anywhere around Missouri because November here is way too cold for the top down.
The Jeep breaks down and the kids go camping in the killer turkey’s territory. Listen guys I just can’t do the play by play because of the flashbacks I get from this film… I think it gave me post traumatic stress disorder because I’m just walking around all mad with brief moments of un-controllable crying.
So we have a turkey that was raised from the dead to kill people and it’s recently been re-activated and is doing his job again quite well. Kids go camping in the wrong place, a hillbilly’s dog dies, some of the teens die… The teens leave but the turkey follows them and kills their parents. The teens do killer turkey research and find a way to kill it. A turkey kills somebody and wears the mans face and the teens think the turkey is a person for a while… So they kill the turkey and throw it away but it comes back as a glowing super turkey because they threw it away in toxic waste. It’s finally burned at the stake and dies… or does he?
Seriously, this movie isn’t scary at all but it was pretty funny. The turkey’s one liners were pretty hilarious and once you realize that the people making it were not serious you can kind of get the feel for it. I didn’t have the luxury of knowing that though, as I thought that the makers honestly thought a killer turkey movie would be great. I rate this movie a 6/10 for its retarded yet funny plot and the lines from the foul mouthed killer turkey.
