When it comes to secret agents, nothing can hold a candle to the awesomness that is James Bond 007.  James Bond is the most recognized spy character by far and his legendary missions to save the world are some of the most ridiculous and most memorable scenes in action movie history. James Bond has it all, cool gadgets, expensive cars, beautiful women, and a license to kill. 00 agent James Bond is a literary character from author Ian Flemming which based the super spy character off of a friend and real life spy named Dusko Popov. Even though most of the exploits of Flemmings’ super spy seem far fetched, some of the story is seeded in truth. The role of James Bond has been played by several men and many fans are fierce fans of their favorite ‘Bond’ actors. Many Bond fanatics are Sean Connery fans because he was the first actor to portray the famous secret agent, although this is not entirely true. The actual title for the first Bond on screen goes to actor Barry Nelson and his 1954 television portrayal that pre-dated the first big screen Bond film by 8 years.
